COMPUTER PROGRAM

Basic computer skills classes are given on Saturdays at The Woodward Ethiopia Girls’ Center. There are currently five sessions with 20 girls per class with a total of 100 students taking the program. The Woodward Ethiopia Girls' Center enter has 15 computers for the program. In 2017, Woodward ran a Summer Computer Program, which was in high demand, receiving a total of 107 girls between the ages of 11 and 16. All participants took advantage of the school showers and the library.

Girls in our Computer Program also benefit from our Life Skills Program. Access to computers is very limited in the community, as schools do not have computers or computer labs and payment is required for any other computer use. With more funding, we will expand this much need and valued computer program.
